Each Bahr Sama piece is meticulously crafted by hand using the ancient technique of wax casting.
Wax casting is a traditional jewelry-making method that begins with carving a model in wax. This model is then used to create a mold, into which molten metal is carefully poured. Once cooled, the mold is removed, revealing a beautifully cast piece of jewelry. This artisanal process allows for intricate details and ensures that every piece has its own unique character.
All bahr sama pieces are expertly crafted from recycled 925 sterling silver or gold vermeil.
925 sterling silver is a high-quality, durable alloy composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, ensuring lasting strength. Gold vermeil, on the other hand, is sterling silver coated with a thick layer of gold (at least 5 microns)—this process blends the elegance of gold with the resilience and affordability of sterling silver, offering an enduring beauty.
All bahr sama pieces are individually crafted by hand. Due to this artisanal, non-industrial process, slight irregularities or imperfections may be visible. These subtle details are a natural result of craftsmanship and are precisely what make each piece unique.
Each step of the process takes place in France, in Paris. I begin by designing and sculpting each piece in wax in my Paris atelier. The wax model is then cast in metal by my trusted caster partner, also based in Paris. Finally, I carefully polish each piece back in my atelier to refine and complete its final form.
Each piece is carefully designed, handcrafted, cast in metal, and polished by hand. And to avoid waste, I follow a strict no-stock policy — every piece is made to order. That is why my orders are shipped within 2 to 3 weeks. You will be notified once the order is ready to be shipped.
At this stage bahr sama offers delivery within the European Union and the United Kingdom. If you are located outside of these regions, please reach out at contact@bahrsama.com and I will let you know if it's possible to send the package to your location.
If your order hasn’t arrived, please contact me at contact@bahrsama.com, with your order number. I will investigate the issue with the carrier and keep you informed every step of the way. In case of confirmed loss, you will be offered a replacement or a full refund.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please refuse the package and notify me immediately at contact@bahrsama.com. If you have already accepted the package, please take photos or videos of the item and send them to me no later than 5 days following receipt. If the product is confirmed to be damaged or incorrect, I may ask you to return it (in its original packaging) using a return shipping label I will provide you. You will then be offered either a refund or a replacement item.
Yes, returns are accepted! If you wish to return your item, please contact me at contact@bahrsama.com within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have another 14 days to send the item(s) back in their original condition and packaging to the following address: 27 Avenue Ledru Rollin, 75012 Paris
Once I receive the returned package, I’ll issue a full refund, including the initial shipping costs.
